Job Description: This is a trainee position with an opportunity to learn Manual Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Induction Soldering, Torch Brazing, and the TA Fill Process. Learn to maintain various machines such as Drill Presses, Glass and Sand Blasting machines, Tube Cutting machine, Capillary and Armor Cable cutting machines. General Requirements: 0-1 year related work experience High School diploma or equivalent and/or demonstrated basic reading, writing and math ability. Ability to communicate in English, understand and follow both verbal and written instructions. Willingness to perform all fabrication processes working from assembly drawings, workbooks, and procedures available on production Chromebooks. Willingness to work with epoxy, manual GTAW equipment, open flames, various gasses, solder and high temperature ovens. Ability to perform quality checks using various tools and methods used for testing and checking components. Willingness to work in a team based environment with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Typical Responsibilities: Performs fabrication operations according to standard operating procedures. Performs operations including but not limited to cutting Capillary, cutting MI Cable, cutting Tubing, cutting Armor Cable. Expected to train towards becoming proficient in 2 of the following skills/fabricator processes: Manual GTAW, Induction Solder/Braze, Torch Braze Process all necessary production paperwork. Builds and package simple sub-assemblies Maintains acceptable quality and quantity levels. Assists with stock put-away (from the loading dock) and record daily scrap transactions. Maintains safe work environment by following company safety procedures. Performs work in assembly cells as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting and working with products and production devices weighing up to 30 pounds. Capable of standing and/or walking up to 8 hours per day.
