Salary range: Up to $45 per hour (based on experience)
Job summary
The HVAC Technician will be part of a team that is responsible for a 1.5 MM SF multi-tenant first class office, R&D and retail portfolio. This is a hands-on position and will perform preventative maintenance, respond to service calls for repairs and troubleshoot HVAC issues for commercial properties. The successful candidate will be eager to work and learn under more experienced technicians with an opportunity to become a more senior member of the HVAC team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conduct preventative maintenance on an ongoing basis on existing HVAC systems and adhere to established preventative maintenance schedule.
- Respond to repair and service work order requests to troubleshoot HVAC equipment and controls to determine problems and perform necessary repairs.
- Make recommendations for improvement on existing HVAC systems and equipment.
- Provide regular updates to Construction and Property Managers regarding status of projects and assignments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Certificate from Trade School in HVAC is preferred.
- At least 3 years of HVAC experience in a commercial setting.
- Mass Driver’s license.
- Highly organized, self-starter and effective at multi-tasking.
- Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 75 Lbs. at times.
